Welcome to Columbus K9 Unleashed!

We have been dog owners most of our lives.  We treat every dog as if they were our own and part of our family.  We have also lived with dogs that were not well behaved….until, we decided to do something about it.  Our owner became a K9 trainer, and it changed the way we communicated with our dogs.

Just like many people with dogs, we at Columbus K9 Unleashed wanted a well behaved, well mannered dog.  We know how it feels when you have family or guests over and your dog is being a pest for getting attention, jumping up, not respecting personal space, barking, or being an all-around crazy dog.  It’s so nice when people come over and your guests can come in, relax, and notice your dog is laying comfortably awaiting its chance to greet your guests.  It is not knocking small children over or getting under the feet of a grandparent. 

We love taking our dogs just about everywhere we go.  We love to go on walks, hikes, to playgrounds, or basically on any family adventure.  Our dogs used to pull us everywhere while on a leash.  Now, its so much more enjoyable having our dogs walk calmly beside us not trying to chase squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, or any other wild animal.  They are not running up to strangers and not respecting space.  They are not lunging at other dogs that pass by or trying to lick every child’s face. 

Your dog(s) will learn basic obedience from a certified, experienced dog trainer.  You will not believe how a well-trained dog will change your life!  If your goal is to get rid of the leash, we offer advanced programs for off leash training as well.
